Meet our New Advisor, Carmen Mak

Today we’re excited to announce that Senior Account Director (Talent Solutions) at LinkedIn — Carmen Mak— is joining our advisory board at WNJ Ventures.

During her 16 years career, Carmen has worked across tech, banking and hospitality in Asia Pacific and North America. She has extensive experience in corporate sales, business management and building talent strategy. Carmen has also been an active angel investor in the tech startup space.

Carmen will act as a strategic advisor to our firm and our entrepreneurs on several aspects:

1. Bringing a people-centric approach to provide advisory across talent acquisition, building the right culture and leadership development.
2. To manage our fast-growing portfolio, Carmen will act as a strategic mentor for selective portfolio companies and LAUUNCH! Incubation Program incubatees, in particular across HR tech and the Future of Work.
